I was not sure when I bought this camera as it was quite cheap. I have found it is a great camera and the software is also very good. I have used it outside to watch my dogs when on holiday and also to see my baby waking up and its been great! Set up took 2 mins with the second camera! No its not Netgear Arlo quality, but it has all the features you need and the reliability. i have since bought a moving one and have found that to be better as it has more range and you can scan the whole room. The night vision and 2 way sound is also better, but its a much bigger camera. In my next house i will buy one for outside, but... May upgrade to a battery system like the netgear arlo (or the cheaper white one on Amazon) as it has a separate router thing, so will not be as sluggish. Also they are waterproof, so I can mount them outside. I can always get a 2 camera battery system and the two I already have. That way I have two different cloud systems adding to the reliability, should one fail. to conclude, buy this or any other MIPC app camera (not just this brand) and you will not be disappointed.Read full review

I currently use this in my window for outside..its used for indoors really...the infrared bounces off my window of a night time so can't use the setting of an evening...but good for inside the house...not bad quality for a small camera..easy to use and easy to set up more or less...good wireless...needs to be plugged in all the time though.. would be good if it had an onboad battery..can be used to fit to a wall or just left standing..can hear what's going on around the home anyway ..

Had one of these for a while now to use as a dog watch cam. Very impressed with it so ordered 2 more for front and rear of house. Very easy to set up with instructions (and more detailed instructions online). Viewing remotely away from home is automatically set up during installation, so no messing about with IP addresses etc. Android phone app is easy to use and picture quality is good. IR function can be turned off if required (e.g. if camera is looking through a window, when IR gets reflected back at the camera.) Overall, very pleased with these cameras.
