This wagon is for O Gauge, 32mm finescale track.
It is a ready to run model from a kit by Slaters Plastikard s and represents a Salt wagon belonging to Saxa Salt.
It's a good runner, usual three-link couplings fitted and all ready to roll. It has been lightly weathered to reduce the 'toylike' look that it had when new.
This is a rare example of a private owner wagon which is correct for the Post War Period (BR). Indeed, the 'non pool' lettering identifies it as suitable for post war layouts only. That is very late LMS/LNER/GWR/SR or BR up to the early 1960s.
The original builder did not trouble to number it. The transfers came into my hands but were past their sell-by date and useless. Replacement transfers (if required) should be available from Slaters.
Being sold as it was bought in a batch at auction, but is one that I don't need/want for myself.
Will be despatched in its original box and well protected with packing materials.
Paypal, Personal Sterling Cheque or Postal Order equally acceptable in payment. Item will be despatched promptly after cleared payment.
Please note the postage cost before bidding. It is now necessary to send items of this value by tracked, insured post because of changes to PO rules on compensation and Ebay's own expectations that items of any value will be sent by tracked post.
