THE MOVEMENT IS SIGNED 'TAVANNES' WATCH CO.
In 1891 watchmaker, Henri-Frédéric Sandoz founded the Tavannes Watch Company. Tavannes was merged with the CYMA watch Company owned by the Schwob family in 1892. Under the Cyma, Tavannes and Tacy names, they were one of the most prolific Swiss manufacturers of complete watches in the 1920s and 30s.
Cronometro Escasany', a reputable jeweller and watch retailer in Argentina and South America, established in early 1900's. The Company has worked with renowned Swiss Horologists and ordered exclusive designs and models from Switzerland for distribution in Latin America.
