Murano Fish Shaped Bowl - A.Ve.M A beautiful bowl, most likely by A.Ve.M (Arte Vetraria Muranese), a cased and lobed piece of art glass, it is the same style and finish of others I have seen. It has glints of gold and silver, and as you can see the colours are bright and vivid, and runs through the spectrum. In contrast to the top, the underside is a lovely opaline white finish, with a flat base. It is in superb condition, the rim is smooth and even, there are no chips or cracks or other marks I can see or feel, a fantastic piece of handmade Murano glass. Measures between 5 and 6cm tall and 23cm at longest and 18cm deep, with a 3.7cm base. Weight is 0.817kg unpacked. Please check out my other auctions. |
