AMD have always provided better value processors compared to INTEL and the Athlon XP 2000+ is no exception. The name is derived from its performnce comparison with equivalent Intel Pentium 4 processors and basically means that it performs at least as well as an Intel Pentium 4 running at 2000 MHz. The AMD processor only runs at 1667MHz and so uses less power and generates less heat. The front side bus is 133MHz but double-data-rate boosts this to 266 MHz. This processor is generally as fast as a Pentium 4 2.2GHz, depending on the type of application.
Does 2500 Mhz stable on Jetway Nf2 board. Outstanding. Again I'll say it. Commercial interest drive technology not consumer need.
