I AM A LONG TIME TRUSTED EBAY SELLER
I have been dealing in antiques, art and collectibles for many years, and selling on eBay since 1999.
My listings all include vital information which you will find informative, and should cover most of your questions.
If you need additional information, you can send me a message, or call me at home at (619) 299-3448. Thank You, Christian Chaffee.
This is a pair of Ming Dynasty pottery Buddha figures, fresh from an old estate collection.
These pottery figures are glazed in a clear green glaze and date to the Ming Dynasty, and are very typical of pottery being made before 1644.
These were later mounted into brass bookends for export.
These measures about 4 1/2" high, 2 13/16" wide and 4 5/8" deep.
THIS ITEMS CONDITION REPORT
This set is in good condition, as shown in the images.
This set weighs about 1 1/2 lbs before packing.
Ebay policy requires a
signature ( an additional $2.50 cost) for an item with a $250 ( or more) value.
Also, insurance is not determined and added into the cost until after purchase.
Ebay's shipping calculator is not always accurate. Please wait for your invoice before paying.
If you pay before you get an invoice, and we discover you have paid too much for shipping, we will refund the difference.
If you have not paid enough, we will email you to let you know how much you need to pay.
Large and heavy items can sent by Greyhound bus to your nearest Greyhound station with Package Express service.
I do charge $20 to take large items downtown to our mail Greyhound station, to cover the fuel, and time required to do this.
PACKING AND HANDLING CHARGES
I don't attempt to make money on packing or shipping, but I do want to break even on providing these services.
I do charge a minimum of $2, with the cost increasing depending on the size, nature of the item, and materials required to pack it properly.
I pack it to survive the shipping according to the accepted standards required by the shipper.
On expensive fragile items, we may need to double box them. This will
require additional labor and material costs.
EVERY ITEM IS GUARANTEED TO BE THE ONE SHOWN IN MY IMAGES
I sell mostly antiques and collectibles, which will usually have the normal wear that you would expect to occur from normal use and age.
You are guaranteed that the images accurately represent the item I am offering. If you need any additional images,
please email me.
I will mention anything I find objectionable in the condition report above.
I SELL ONLY GENUINE ORIGINAL ITEMS
I do my very best to accurately represent each and every item I sell. I do not sell fakes or reproductions of any kind, unless they are clearly described as such.
I guarantee every item I sell to be authentic, and to be made in the time period as represented.
I have been buying and selling all types of items for many years, so I usually spot reproductions, fakes and alterations to items with ease.
I welcome input from dealers and collectors in specialized areas, to help insure my listings are complete and accurate.
RECEIVING YOUR EBAY INVOICE
My shipping assistant will send you an eBay invoice with the total cost, including: packing labor, materials, shipping
costs, insurance, and any additional related costs.
If the listing ends over the weekend, you will normally receive an invoice on Monday.
PAYING WITH PAYPAL
I welcome your payment by PayPal. Payment by PayPal requires I abide by PayPal policy.
Paypal policy requires that I fully insure every item. I am also required to have the declared value and the insurance coverage match.
If this is a problem, you will need to email me before paying.
CALIFORNIA STATE SALES TAX
All California residents must pay 8.25% sales tax ( 8.75 for San Diego buyers) based on the city you live in.
If you have a California resale number, you will need to email me an image of it, or include the sales tax due.
PAYMENT FOR ITEMS
I expect payment to be made within 3 days from the date of your invoice.
If you are out of the country, insurance is limited to $2500 coverage, so if the item value is higher, you need to contact me before paying.
SHIPPING OF ITEMS
I do shipping at least once a week, and more often if possible.
If the item is large or heavy it can be shipped using FedEx or Greyhound bus lines.
If your item is shipped by bus, you would need to pick up the item at your local Greyhound bus station which has package services available.
I can get insurance up to $1000 in California, and am limited to $300 on out of state
SHIPPING COST SAVINGS
If you plan on bidding on multiple items, I will hold your item here until the end of the upcoming auction so I can ship both items together.
I will pass on 100% of the savings to you, in the form of reduced shipping costs, which will show on the invoice for the additional item.
PAYMENTS ON EXPENSIVE ITEMS
If you need some time to pay for an expensive item, you must email me for approval prior to bidding.
With prior approval, I will consider a payment plan, as long as I am guaranteed I will be paid.
I enjoy leaving you great feedback as soon as our transaction is complete to let everyone on eBay know you do business in a responsible way.
Damaged Items: If your item is damaged in shipping, the shipper is responsible, but we will assist you with the claim process. You will need to save the box and packing materials to show the shipper. This is the proof that they require, so if you discard the packing materials, your claim may be denied. Shippers do not accept parcels packed in damaged boxes as a rule, so damage is normally evidenced by damage to the box.
