19th or early 20th century ?   Clear glass encasing coloured cane glass 'flowers'.  The base has a pontil scar and an engraved or scratched "ST LOUIS".  Good general condition, a few minute scratches.

3 1/2" ( 8.9cm ) diameter, 2 3/8" ( 6cm ) high. THE FOLLOWING WAS KINDLY SENT BY AN EBAYER IN RESPECT OF THIS PAPERWEIGHT --   " For information, this paperweight was not made by St Louis. Unfortunately somebody has added the signature to what is actually a typical paperweight made by Ysart Brothers (Vasart) in the years 1946 to 1956."
