Beautiful Victorian Photograph Album with an embossed leather cover, brass closing clasp and gilt edges to the pages. The album has lovely black and gilt end papers and the interior edges of the covers are also gilded. The album has 16 heavy card pages with a wide variety of cutouts, oval, and rectangular. The pages either have one cut out or four. Condition The cover is in good condition, there is some wear to the spine but it is intact. The cover and interior are well attached with no cracks. However there is some damage to some of the slots below the photograph aperture caused by the removal of the photographs. |
