Here we have a stunning Elm Dresser with 2 drawers, pot board and a plate rack.
It is full of character and made in the C16th style.
It is my opinion that it has been made in the last 30-40 years.
It has been beautifully made and has all the wear and ink stains and tool marks that an original one would have.
This has been done with considerable skill and looks most authentic.
Parts of the carcass such as the draw runners are made in pine.
It features two pine lined, drawers with brass drop handles. It has a plate rack on top which comes off for ease of transport. A genuine antique version of this would retail for about £3000 so here is an opportunity to own the next best thing for a fraction of the price.
Everyone who sees it comments and thinks it is as old as the hills.
Having said that it has not been made to deceive as no attempt has been made to age anything other than the outside, as a fakier would. The unseen parts are unstained and modern nails etc have been used.
It is a gorgeous, conker brown colour and is clean and waxed and polished and ready to use
The grains selected, particulary on the drawer and legs is wonderful and if you love wood and like a bit of character then this will make you smile :)
It really is gorgeous and I think, unique. I am only selling it so I can get something with more storage and will be sad to see it go.

I will also be happy to co-operate with your own courier provided that they take responsibility for blanketing the item.
I am afraid I don't have the time or materials to wrap large items of furniture.
I will be able to help lift it my end though.
Beware of couriers who expect furniture to be wrapped so they can get out of taking responsibility for the care of your item.
A good courier will want to blanket and secure your item personally.
You are more that welcome to collect.
I can take Paypal but would prefer cash on collection or bank transfer.
Please make contact and arrange collection promptly after purchase. I will do my best to help with the arrangements and will be helpful and cooperative.
Many thanks for looking and if you have any questions- ask away!
