This is a truely lovely piece of antique furniture with a lovely age, colour and patina.
Some alterations have taken place over the years, adding to its charm.
Bureaux with cylinder type tops are rare and sought after.
Ebony line inlays, typical of the georgian period.

This piece of furniture has had historic knocks, marks, repairs and alterations as one may expect given its age. Most of the ironmongery appears to have been replaced, although the main drawer handles could be original. There is no key. One of the small internal knobs is slightly different. The baize is not new and may have some wear or marks.

Methods of payment are cash on collection, debit/credit card, PayPal, bank transfer or cheque. No goods can be collected or arrangements for delivery made until we have cleared funds. Where appropriate, smaller items will be sent using a parcel delivery service and you should allow around 1 week for delivery.
Larger items will be sent via a specialist antique furniture courier. Usually this will be our driver and van, however if you live in the West Country, Wales, the far North of England or Scotland we use reliable, careful specialist courier companies.
Please allow around three weeks for deliveries using our van or four weeks for other couriers (although often we will be much quicker than this). As standard we offer a one man delivery service and the driver will need able-bodied assistance to carry/position large/heavy items in your home. Our insurance policy (like most others) only covers curb side deliveries. Our driver will happily help to carry items into your home, however in the event that any damage is caused to the item or home, this will be at the customer's responsibility.
