Superb Antique Saint - Louis Crystal Scrambled Paperweight Dating from around 1850.
A very nice selection of typical pastel coloured Saint - Louis canes and twists within crystal clear glass.
There was a virtually identical weight at Bonhams, Edinburgh on the 21st July 2011.
These are sometimes confused with antique American weights as workers from France went to America and used Saint - Louis canes.
This is undoubtedly Saint - Louis because of the very clear glass and the smooth polished concave pontil.
Width - 2 3/4 inches (68mm).
Height - Almost 1 1/4 inches (40mm).
Condition - Excellent for it's age with no major chips or cracks (see description and photos for further info).
