Antique Victorian Copeland dish with oriental decoration This lot comprises a small oval pottery serving dish. The decoration is all a brown transfer print hand coloured in mainly red, green, and turquoise. The rim has a broad band of geometric designs and stylised flowers and leaves. The centre has an oriental style desk with vase and exotic flowers and a hanging lantern etc. Maker – The base is impressed with Copeland in and arch above B (this style of mark was used in the period 1850-67. The back is also impressed with F above 82 (possibly date code for February 1882). Condition – The dish is in good clean condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The dish is 28.5 cm long, 22.5 cm wide.
