This is an Antique 19th c French mantle clock by Brunfaut (impressed on the rear of the case)
This clock was made between 1880-1890 it has engraved (49) above the case makers name which we belive corisponds to its identity.

Set in a superb gilt case,with outstanding handpainted sevres porcelain
The clock having pierced designs and creeping vines
There is matching sevres porcelaine dial with roman numerals
lower down is is handpainted porcelain panels
It has an 8 day movement
Its fully working and comes with its pendulum and key
Its in excellent condition as you can see
it measures an impressive 14 1/2" high x 15" wide x 4 3/4" deep
