Antique quality large early 20th Century oak roll top desk writing table bureau.

Lovely proportions, age and patina.

This desk has a great look and is very unusual / rare and has the more sought after large 'S' tambour roll - one of the best.

Loads of room for lap tops etc.

The tambour roll works well as do all of the drawers.

This desk would look great in the right location.

This is a super desk with solid oak panelled sides and back.

The desk splits into 3 (+some smaller bits) pieces for transport.

Overall dimensions 1230mmW x 760mmD x 1100mmH x 740mmH writing surface (595H x 530W knee hole).

There is a key, although only one of the two locking pins operates, but this enough to lock the desk. Historical knocks, marks, damage, repairs and alterations as one would expect, given the age of the piece. There are a few ink stains here and there and the drawer dividers are missing. The pedestal plynths have been replaced historically (with stained softwood). There are some historical woodworm holes that have been treated for good measure.
