It packed up on the second day. Charge didn't keep even when not switched on, dial did not react, in the end it all went dead. Only the apple logo appears eradically and then disappears again. Utter rubbish.

Try and get your hands on a later version if you can, the nano 3rd gen is a good one to go for. The battery life is ridiculously short, the backlight isn't automatic which grates after a while, very hard to get used to, as is the lack of a clock. The design is beautiful though, and it's very sturdy and can stand up to being dropped, getting rained on, temperature extremes, etc. The wheel is pretty responsive though not as much as the 3rd gen nano and the 4th gen classic. Get it if you can find it cheaply, but it's not worth any more than £20-£25 max in my opinion.
