|Seller notes:||“Great condition for age”|
1930's Van Gruisen upright piano in excellent condition for year. All the keys have been professionally cleaned and they are all intact with no duds. The tone of the piano is 1st class and that is my opinion of someone who has played the piano for over 30 years.
The stool is included in the sale but if you don't want or need it I will take £40 off the final successful offer.

In the 1930s, piano makers introduced the miniature upright. This led to a renewed public interest.
The miniature upright was very handy had a full and rich tone.. This improved further later and the piano has reached unprecedented standards of quality through significant technical and cosmetic changes brought on by new materials, processes, techniques and innovative genius.
The piano is a very expressive instrument which cannot be compared by any other keyboard instrument.
The person who retracted the bid did so as they realised afterwards that van hire was too expensive
Van Gruisen & Son were at 27 Bold Street, Liverpool from 1886 to 1936 and this is one of the last pianos made by them
