Here we have a 1958 Austin A35 2 door saloon. I bought this car in 1995, and it was last on the road that same year. Due to other commitments very little time has been spent on it, its an excellent genuine restoration project. All the mechanics (excluding the brakes, which need attention) seem to be functional. The engine turns over and starts, correctly drawing fuel from the tank through the mechanical diaphragm fuel pump. The clutch engages and disengages correctly, all gears can be engaged, and it moves forwards and backwards. The tyres will hold air long enough to move the vehicle, but the rear ones are in poor condition. The spare is in the boot, but the tyre itself is shot. The previous owner seems to have taken care of it as there is still plenty of grease around. The bodywork is where I imagine the serious restoration is needed, as its quite poor in places. This car had one owner from 1978 before I purchased it. The vehicle will of course need to be trailered away. Please note, there is no battery included with this sale, I have one to use to just start it and load it onto a trailer. Cash on collection. Please feel free to ask any questions.
