B-17 CREW and ATTACK [COUNTERS] B-17 Avalon Hill SPI













These B-17 crew and attack counters are for use with the B-17 Queen of the Skies game from Avalon Hill .  They're not necessary to play the game but look very nice and have a lot more detail then the counters that come with the game.

The counters were printed on a color laser printer using quality paper.  The paper was then  attached to quality board and treated with a UV protecting acrylic. The acrylic also helps the counter withstand heavy use and contact with moisture. The counter sheet was then cut into individual counters (if you desire an uncut sheet please ask).

You will receive 11 Color "crew" counters (see photos).  If you have played the game you know you only have a crew of 10.  The 11th character is an ammunition stocker.  When you play the YB-40 mod for B-17 you are flying in a beefed up B-17 that had extra guns and an extra man to run ammo around the plane.  The Porcupine as it was called did not carry bombs just tons of .50 call MG's and ammo.  See the YB-40 listing for more information on this mod.

You also receive 11 gun target markers.  As you play B-17 and the German planes swoop in on your bird you get to fire at the planes as they attack.  The game comes with markers that say nose, top turret etc.  These counters have a graphic of a plane in a gun site.  These 11 counters include special guns that were made available in later variants of B-17, a Chin Turret counter and a rear upper turret counter, an extra set of twin 50's placed in the Porcupine where the radio room gun normally is.

You will receive 22 counters total.
