The original inks are getting more expensive. Yet, I usually have really good results from them. I've used the after-market inks and some worked better than the original. But, some of them didn't. Overall, I think you can't beat the quality of the original.

I always buy GENUINE Canon inks for my printer. I have done so for 6 years or more and never had a complaint. I have tried a couple so called compatibles and they do not produce good color. I am a professional photographer and cannot take chances with off color prints and reproductions.

Not much to say about an oem inkjet cartridge. It works as designed. I only buy OEM for my photo printer. Not worth the sometimes lesser quality ink for photo printing.
