NOTES

Up for auction here a top conditioned RARE French Sgt. Pepper's press on highly sought after White/Black Odeon in NEAR MINT Vinyl quality. This copy appears to having been played very few times only, for it is looking close to be unplayed.

Typical features of this French third press:
  • Rare White/Black Odeon label (not Parlophone!)
  • Rectangled golden STEREO sticker on upper left top of cover
  • No "Printed in..." credit on cut-out
Its uncompromised, very nice overall condition (in particular with regards to the French heritage, where many, if not most records come in an "ambigous" quality), its completeness plus the rare label this copy is printed on round the picture of a true collectible.

Please see grading details for a more elaborate description of the record's condition.

IMPORTANT NOTE for GERMAN BIDDERS: Please constact us before bidding, for otherwise we will remove your bid without prior notice. This is in view of constantly recurring problems, often caused by language. It's NOT an offense. Collectors want harmony and consensus, not trouble.

1st Class Packaging

We are Collectors, hence every record is stored (and will be sent) in a sophisticated way. Many experienced collectors were thrilled by our unique, bullet-proof "packing technicque". Original cover, inner sleeve(s), prospective inserts, and/or whatever may come across, are stored separately. The vinyl sits in a neutral antistatic, padded inner sleeve, which is housed in a stable, neutral cardboard cover. Package is protected by one (or more) transparent plastic sleeves. Finally, all items are being wrapped with thick bubble foil and go to a professional record mailer, which is then being properly sealed with water-resistant tape.

For packaging, we use brand-new material & items only.
Whatever eBay MIGHT display: INSURED, SIGNED-IN, TRACKED SHIPPING IS FREE. ANY DESTINATION ON THIS PLANET.

(PLEASE NOTE that pictured record is an EXAMPLE only. It is NOT the item up for auction. Thank you.)

We use superb vinyl equipment with its heart being an Ortofan Diamond System and gold plated contacts all around.
Audible checks are performed with a Pro-Ject Audio system connected to a DENON PMA 520-AE amplifier, with a Sennheiser 350 headset.

Remarks   As for the Cover and related issues, please refer to pictures provided right after. Spine is in a perfectly readable condition.
The fully laminated cover is completely glossy, with an absolutely clean insertion slot, no cuts, nothing. Also no seam split, or signs of it. Scuffed edges. Front side has some ring wear, something yellows, just slightly, which is why we grade VG+/EX.
Both labels are absolutely clean. No writings, stains, tears, or spots. Side B has minimal marks at spindle hole.
Vinyl is shiny, both sides, with a few hairlines only. Whereas B-Side has no further issues, Side A shows 4 (four) marks, and 1 (one) scratch, which is not affecting the record's sound quality.
Has been played very few times only, looking closed to "unplayed". EX+/NM-, please see photos.

Regarding audio, plays perfectly thru, no jumps, or skips. There's a few bg noise, in particular during slower songs like, for instance, She's Leaving Home. Some noise between tracks. All in all a clear EX for both sides.

Please keep in mind that an opinion is bound to be subjective. Refer to pictures, provided extensively.
For a short explanation of applied grading, please see remarks on every listing's bottom of page.
