  • The terms and conditions set out below are applicable to the supply of products made by BuyDirect4U to the buyer, hereafter referred to as the customer.
  • PRIVACY

  • 2.1 From time to time we will send customers promotional offers & updates via email. Any customer wishing to deactivate this update, reply stop to the email and your details will be deactivated from our mailing list.
  • 2.2 We do not make use of cookies.
  • 2.3 We do not collect information deemed sensitive under the Data Protection Act 1998. Your address details (but NOT your credit card details, see below) are retained on a restricted access system within our internal systems which is in keeping with both our security policy and the law.
  • PRICING

  • 3.1 All prices are quoted in pounds sterling & include VAT
  • PAYMENT

  • 4.1 Payments must be made in Pounds sterling only, unless otherwise specified, by one of the following payment methods:
  • 4.2 Major credit cards as listed: MasterCard, Visa, Switch, Solo, Visa Delta.
  • 4.3 We collect payment via PayPal or Sage pay.
  • TRANSFER OF RISK

  • 5.1 The risk in the goods shall fully pass to the customer once the goods have been delivered by our nominated transport provider and signed for.
  • DELIVERY

  • 6.1SHIPPING:
    All products are despatched from our warehousing facilities. Unless requested by the Customer, all products must be signed for at the time delivery is made. Goods must be checked on arrival and any loss or damages must be reported within a reasonable time. The customer must request any alternative delivery method at the time of the ordering which may incur a surcharge and goods will be despatched at the customers own risk. We send our small items with either Royal Mail or Yodel, Medium items with City Link and large items on a pallet with Night Freight or UK Pallets. Our Pallet service is a one man delivery so the customer will be responsible for providing assistance on any large item that needs this. If a two man delivery is required there will be an additional surcharge and you will need to contact us directly to arrange payment for this.
  • 6.2SHIPPINGCHARGES:
    All the products contained on our website are delivered free of charge to the U.K. mainland. For deliveries to Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland and the Scottish Isles & Highlands (POST CODES DD,PA, PH, AB, IV, KW) carry additional carriage charges. Please call us to confirm these charges prior to ordering.
  • 6.3DELIVERYDATE:
    BuyDirect4U aim to deliver all goods within seven working days from processing of payment. Any orders which will exceed 7 days to fulfil, the customer will be notified in writing via email and will be offered the option of order cancellation and a refund of payment. BuyDirect4U cannot be held responsible for delays in the delivery caused by our suppliers or transport providers.
  • 6.4EXPRESSSHIPPING:
    In many cases we are able to ship orders on a Next Day delivery basis for an additional charge. If you require this service please enquire with us to confirm the availability of the product and the additional cost for transportation prior to ordering. Orders must be placed before 1pm to be received the following day. If you order before 1pm on a Friday then your item will be with you on the Monday.
  • ACCEPTANCE

  • 7.1 The Customer shall inspect the goods within a reasonable time period after delivery, and shall be deemed to have accepted the goods, unless, within a reasonable time period after their delivery the customer notifies BuyDirect4U that the goods are rejected. If no notification of rejection is received, BuyDirect4U will consider the products being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose and therefore reserve the right not to accept any rejection of goods at a later date.
  • 7.2 BuyDirect4U will not be liable for any parcel signed for as "Received in good condition&. The liability for signing for goods is with the customer and items need to be checked before signing.
  • RETURNS PROCEDURE

  • 8.1 We offer a 14 day returns period. If the goods are rejected within the time scale as defined in clause 6, the customer shall comply with the BuyDirect4U returns procedure as defined below. BuyDirect4U will not accept any returned goods should the returns procedure not be followed.
  • 8.2 The Customer must contact BuyDirect4U by e-mail to obtain a returns authorisation. The customer is responsible for returning the goods and covering the costs of the return within 14 days of receiving the item as long as it is unused and in its original packaging in a saleable condition, unless the item is damaged or faulty.
  • 8.3 In cases where the faulty or damaged goods are rejected within 14 days, the customer is entitled to a full refund or replacement. The faulty or damaged product must be returned to the location specified by BuyDirect4U before the refund or replacement can be issued. Refunds are made within 30 days of cancellation. If the item is large/oversized a collection will be arranged, the collection driver will need assistance loading onto the collection vehicle as we offer a one man service only, as per clause 6.1. For smaller items, the customer is required to post the item back themselves and will be refunded for the postage cost, up to the value of £10, once a receipt of the proof of postage has been provided. Customers should return items on a standard delivery service only.
  • 8.4 If when a faulty or damaged item returns, and no fault or damage is found, we reserve the right to deduct the collection charges from the final refund balance.
  • CANCELLATIONS

  • 9.1 Cancellations are only accepted if the customer complies with BuyDirect4U cancellation procedure and before any goods have been despatched. If the order has been despatched prior to the cancellation, the returns procedure as defined in clause 7 (8.2 and 8.3) above will apply. If the procedure is not followed, the order will be considered valid and the Customer will remain liable for the full payment.
  • 9.2 Cancellations can be made either by telephone or by e-mail directly with BuyDirect4U. Please remember, order dispatch normally takes place the same day as payment is processed.
  • 9.3 Cancellations and returns requests made after a product has been delivered and is deemed fit for purpose need to be authorised by BuyDirect4U and given an appropriate returns number. The cost and risk of returning these goods is solely the customers. A credit will only be made once the returned goods have been inspected and deemed fit for resale. BuyDirect4U can organise the collection of these goods and the cost subtracted from the amount to be credited to the customer or the goods can be shipped and paid for by the customer on their own nominated carrier with the appropriate insurance cover. Returned goods must be in their original packaging, complete with none of the internal packaging having been opened.
  • LAW

  • These terms and conditions are governed and shall be interpreted in accordance with U.K. Law.
  • WARRANTY

  • 11.1 Some of our products carry warranties. The periods of these warranties are stated in each individual product specification where applicable. Our warranty's cover parts and labour on manufacturing defects. Our warranty's do not cover, miss use or incorrect use of the product. Batteries on all of our products are covered by 6 month warranties as these will wear out over time depending on use.
  • 11.2 If you need to return a product for a warranty repair, please either return to us at BuyDirect4U, Sullivan Way, Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE11 5QS or we can arrange a collection of the product for you. (Please note we reserve the right to charge the customer for any collection of a warranty repair item. Our warranty's cover parts and labour only.) Please contact us for further information.
  • PROMOTIONAL CODES

  • 12.1 Promotional codes provide a discount on all products, including previously discounted items, purchased in a single transaction.
  • 12.2 Unless otherwise stated promotional codes are one use per customer and cannot be used after the expiration period.
  • 12.3 Offers may be amended or withdrawn at any time at the promoter's discretion.

  • FAULTY ITEM(S)

  • If your item develops a fault within the 14 day refund period please contact us immediately to discuss the problem and our customer service care team will respond accordingly.

  • REPLACEMENT ITEM(S)

  • If your item(s) develops a fault or arrives faulty and you would like a replacement please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item(s) to notify us.

  • All Buy Direct4U.co.uk electrical items come with a 1 year guarantee. During which time we are happy to provide replacement parts or a full replacement of your item for you. Please contact us via email along with proof of your purchase and we can arrange for a replacement to be sent out to you. Collection of the faulty item will be assessed on a case by case basis.
  • Please be advised that our company policy is that no new goods will be dispatched until the old ones are received back. This is the same instance as returning something to a shop for a replacement. You would not expect a replacement to be given without taking the old one back first.

  • UK Pallets

  • If your item is being delivered with UK Pallets and you have confirmed directly with them a date for delivery and no one is available to accept the delivery an additional charge of £25.00 (UK Mainland) will be applied before the second delivery is attempted.
  • If you cannot for any reason fulfil an arranged delivery please let us know 24 hours prior to the delivery, where we will be happy to rearrange for you. Notification on the day of delivery is not acceptable as we cannot rearrange the delivery and a charge will still be applied as per our failed delivery policy.
  • STOCK RESERVATION

  • Unfortunately BuyDirect4U cannot hold stock once it has been ordered. All items are shipped within 48 hours of ordering. If you are unable to receive your delivery please do not order.
  • REFUNDS

  • All item(s) due for refunds must be received in our warehouse prior to the refund being processed.
  • Please allow up to 5 working days for the refund to be processed.
  • All refunds are processed via the means in which the item was paid for in the first instance:

On items that carry 12 month warranties on manufacturing defects, we cover parts and labour for fixing any fault, or replacing the item if the fault cannot be fixed. We are unable to assist with postage costs when returning the item back to us but we will return the item back to the customer free of charge.
