Hi and welcome to my auction for the chance to own in my opinion the pinacle of Chevyness.
Up for offer is a ready to go, dyno'd 433 Big block chevy as built by ICE Engineering in Silverstone. Check their website this is no garage build, this is the real deal
This was built by Rob Loaring of ICE. The number is ICEA 067. This means that if you call them, which I did (Nice chap I spoke to), they will set it all up for you on their dyno for the day. (500quid). They will give it the once over.
This engine is SUPER RARE in that it comes with the ORIGINAL build spec. Its all there in the folder, all the measurements, cam spec and a history of dyno after dyno pull of how it was set up to eventually give 500HP@490Ft/lb@4700RPM. Theres about 20 pulls.
The timing was set at an initial 18 degrees and an idle of 1200 rpm with a hydraulic crane cam with duration of 244 intake and 254 exhaust.
the compression ratio being 11.5 - 1
This essentially is a bored out 402 but not stroked to 454 so as to give it more spin top end. I will upload a few dyno prints soon. If you plot the curve in excel or something it is DIRTY. No curve just almost a flat line of devastation! Engine is internally balanced. Having had the heads off it, the cross hatching can still be seen on each cylinder, its hardly done anything since it was built. (People like me buying it and not having the time or sense to see it through!!)
All internals are forged and it's plated for Nitrous, so its ready for total madness. Pistons are dome pistons 11.5/1, 1.7 rockers and hedman headers, this is both as aesthetically as pleasing as it is to the ear! Lots of nice chrome bits like the valve covers, alternator, and it's just been fully regasketed.
Comes with a mallory dizzy and an MSD 6AL2 and blaster coil. Motor is tight and turns over sweet on the ratchet. Can be started up for a few farts and flames. (You'll need to properly adjust the timing, as earlier said I suggest take it to ICE). Comes with a holley 4150 carb 850cfm and edelbrock T2 intake. The spec on this thing is sick
It also comes with a TH700R4 box and torque converter. This I was told has been built to go with this motor and has run in tandem with it. The box alone is worth a grand easily. With torque converter aswell.
This is ready to go and drop in whatever contraption you see fit.
Now the question y'all all ask is why am I selling?
Well I live up north in Sheffield and this is darn sarf with a good friend of mine doing nothing! I bit off too much! Ive got a 305 and a 350 LT1 on the rebuild up here in sheffield. I was going to mate this to my T56 (which if anyone plans to, I can give you details, altho my t56 isnt for sale). The simple fact is, I'm not using it and never have the time. Its the age old story! I bought it because I thought "Yeeaaahhh BIG CHEVY" and then had to work like a plum 5 days a week up north for my sins.
What will you need? Hmm well a radiator, a dipstick, ancillary belt, battery and some time and commitment, (and ofcourse money).
I am after 6450ovno for this package. As we know horsepower costs money these days and proven horsepower costs more. How many engines do you see that need an intake or this that and the other on here? I'm not in a rush to sell it, none of all this no reserve 1p auction rubbish. Serious power, serious motor (was too serious for me I've wimped out to SBC)
I am happy to answer questions, and if you are serious I can arrange a viewing/buying with my friend. Please only serious questions and enquiries. Im sure someone will ask "what does it do to the gallon" and the answer is "Its a 7 litre racing engine, it runs on lots of dead dinosaurs and causes acid rain in Sweden"
You will need to come with a van or a people carrier. Its a big old boy, talking 300kg easy. He has an engine crane, and only after the cash is counted is it going in the back. May, MAY be able to deliver it, but will require the FULL amount paid by bank transfer first of all. Thats because Id rather you collect it than have to ask my mate to stick it on a pallet or in a jiffy bag. Cash on collect ONLY from NORTH WEST LONDON!!
Number is 07808523842 for further questions etc.
I will add more pics later (of the dyno sheets and box) and add further information that I can think of if need be.
PICTURES ADDED, LOOK AT THE TORQUE CURVE! CURVE WHAT CURVE? FLAT 400+ FT/LB ALL THE WAY THROUGH 3500-6000RPM
