I will start by saying that the astronomical level of over-maintenance on this unbelievably kept Alpina is not easily described in words, but here goes.
It comes with EVERY SINGLE SERVICE INVOICE AND RECEIPT FROM NEW totalling nearly £25,000 in maintenance alone, plus every old MOT from new too.
Every consumable component in the car has been changed at least once and a tiny fraction of the invoices I have (in a huge ring binder, all in chronological order) include the following (also bear in mind that where possible these are all Genuine BMW parts, and 99.99% of labour has been done at BMW Main Dealerships):
-Front suspension rebuild (including a pair of new Alpina shock absorbers)
-Rear suspension rebuild
-Rear crankshaft oil seal
-New fuel injectors (x8)
-Recent alloy wheel refurb
-New instrument cluster (£1100)
-Rocker cover gaskets
-Endless sets of tyres and brakes (in line with mileage and age of course)
-Endless services (in the correct order of Oil Service, Inspection 1, OIl Service, Inspection 2)
-New genuine BMW Hella angel eye Xenon headlights
-New radiator, water pump thermostat (all times 2)
-Various bushes, arms
-TarOx Slotted front discs and uprated pads
-New wing mirrors
Even the tiny sticker stating 'high octane fuel only" that goes on the instrument panel was specially ordered from Germany when the cluster was replaced (all £0.10p worth!) just to keep the car totally original
I could go on, but I think you get the idea.
The car has had today: an oil change (Castrol) and filter, new air filter and a new set of NGK Laser Platinum plugs (BKR6EQUP).
It is fitted with the following options over standard:
-Alpina blue Individual paint
-Extended Silver Nappa leather (super-soft, and a £4500 option)
-Genuine Hella 'Angel Eye' Xenon headlamps
-Alpina boot spoiler
-Heated front comfort seats with 15-way adjustment
-Multi-function steering wheel
-Air conditioning and automatic climate control
-DSP Hi-Fi (10 speakers with amplifier and subwoofer)
-Electric power folding heated wing mirrors
-Powered steering column
-Electric rear blind
-Rear side blinds
-Extended airbags (front, side, rear side, curtain)
-DSC and ABS
Cosmetically, the level of obsessive mechanical maintenance is reflected. The body is entirely rust-free. There are no scuffs/dings/scrapes or scratches to speak of whatsoever. The alloys have recently been refurbished (and had brand new Genuine Alpina centre caps and plates) and are flawless. The interior is 100% wear-free. There is no wear on the drivers seat at all, and due to the higher quality leathers and woods that Alpina use, it looks feels and smells like new (never had pets or smoked in).
4 matching Michelin Pilot Sports. Fronts with 7mm each, and rears with 5mm each.
Needless to say, it comes with a totally complete tool kit, original first aid kit, glovebox torch, and matching (unused) Alpina alloy spare plus 2 remote keys, 2 service keys, the plastic key and 2 sets of keys for the locking wheel centre caps
Mileage: 214,000. Those of you who are familiar with the engineering integrity and hand-built quality that is inherent in every Alpina will be broad-minded enough to know that with this level of maintenance, there is no reason why the car cant look and drive like its done 10,000 miles - and thats exactly how this car feels. So any skeptics need to come and see the car and drive it before jumping to conclusions. It really is the best example money can buy.
Thanks for looking. I can be contacted anytime on 07795 976575 and am more than happy to talk at length about any aspect of the car. Also, I have many more photos available so just message me with your email address and I'll send them across
