The item listed for sale is for an exceptionally rare , Brand New With Tags , authentic Nike Code 7 , Juventus , Player Issue , Unsponsored , Home shirt from several years ago.
I believe this originated from the 2003-2004 Season.
The shirt comes supplied in the rarer Long Sleeved Player Issue version.
Describing this particular shirt may prove confusing but here goes.
The shirt colours consist of White , Black and Gold.
The main body of the shirt is typically Black and White Stripes.
The make up of materials used comprise of three differing styles.
First of all we have the typical Silk like to the touch , Polyester Black and White stripe material.
Then there's a self coloured white trim throughout which feels like fine cotton to the touch.
The third and final style of material is a mesh style finish to offer the Player improved air circulation to the body during matches.
The square style neck section is finished in the mesh type material
The front of the shirt forms the usual Black and White striped pattern which then changes two thirds of the way down into the typical Player Issue mesh finish - which is plain white in colour.
The usual Nike Swoosh is located on the right side of the chest. The ' Swoosh ' is fully embroidered in gold coloured silk like threading with a black border around same in black silk style threading.
Sited to the left side of the upper chest area are the usual ' Two Stars ' signifying Juventus's past triumphs in European competitions. The two stars are likewise fully embroidered in gold coloured silk like threading with a black thread border around them.
Located directly below the Two European Stars is the club's badge which , once again is lavishly embroidered in Black , Gold and White silk like threading finished off with a black thread border.
The shirt is the rarer Unsponsored version.
The garments side seams are manufactured using bothy the aforementioned white self coloured material plus white mesh style material.
The rear of the shirt forms an identical Black and White stripe pattern for two thirds of the way down which then reverts to the ventilated mesh type finish.
The shirt was Made In Bulgaria.
The washing instructions are located on an internal tag.
Made From 100% Polyester
Machine Washable at 30 Degrees.
Absolutely awesome Player Issue shirt from Nike.
The product comes in a size Adult's Large ( L ) which is very misleading.
I've measured the product laid flat and from under armpit to under armpit whereby the shirt measures approximately 24 1/2 inches ( 24.5 " ) across the chest and will therefore suit someone with a chest size up to a 49 inch chest.
I would therefore categorise the shirt size as being an Adult's Extra Large.
The Nike Official Product Code Reference Number 786245-011 refers
Being a Player Issue version , the product has no black with red swoosh internal Nike Tag sewn into the inside seam.
The product comes supplied in factory fresh condition and in it's original Nike packaging bag.
All the relevant Nike internal sewn on labels and exterior Swing Tag labels are present.
The shirt comes devoid of any marks , stains , holes , pulls etc.
Typical quality Player Issue product from Nike
The shirt represents the best possible example for any serious collector of Player Issue shirts and would certainly enhance any shirt collection.
DEFINTION OF PLAYER ISSUE SHIRTS & PRODUCTS
Please note I only use the term ' Player Issue ' for Ebay search factor criteria. The term ' Player Issue ' is a general misconception which has grown in popularity alogside the increasing demand for superior products by fans and collectors alike. My so called ' Player Issue ' products are exactly the same strips and stock as those worn by players at specific clubs but have been surplus to requirements at the conclusion of any given season. Nor do I ever sell any so called ' Player Issue ' shirts , shorts , socks etc from any current season as this is strictly illegal.
The product is officially categorised as Club Kitroom stock which is generally superior to Replica versions with varying degrees of cosmetic / material differences. Unless otherwise stated , I make no claim or attempt to insinuate that any particular product listed for sale was ever match prepared for any specific game for a particular player by the respective club. I have literally hundreds of ' Club Kitroom Stock ' which unfortunately includes only a handful of genuine match prepared shirts , prepared by the Kitroom Staff of a specific club ( Mainly Celtic shirts ) for a specific footballer.
Nor would I knowingly agree to sell such Kitroom stock to someone intent on grossly inflating the resale price at a later date by fraudulently passing said item off as being authentically and historically ' Match Prepared for a specific player '. Please bear these very important points in mind when purchasing such products on Ebay or elsewhere.
