RANGE ROVER The Second Generation - 38A models A definitive book in Crowood's Auto Classic series. 176 pages, (the Crowood pagination data is wrong!) hardback, with colour dustjacket - pic. It has a host of black & white illustrations & 8 pages of colour pictures all on good quality paper. 254mm x 196mm, pub 2004, English text.

 Author is the leading Land Rover author James Taylor. A very well detailed history of these models, from the 1989 development days, through the 1995 - 1997 model years, on to the 1998 - 2002 model years. There are sections on specials, Limited Editions, North American market, aftermarket, & emergency vehicle conversions.

 Finally, there is a buying guide, & a detailed data appendix. In my judgement, a very scholarly, but eminently readable history of this great car. Not my usual stock, as I am a model car specialist, but I couldn't resist it.
