Selling on behalf of my Father.
Purchased in 2007 with tax and MOT. I dont really know why he bought it because he has never ridden it but it has kept him occupied with his oily rag and he has improved a few things.
The log book says it should be blue, it actually came in red and my Father has resprayed it in gold. If any area needs improvement then I have to say that the paintwork is it, it is clean but he has painted over the chips and scratches and the finish is rather matt. Apart from this though the bike is not too bad. I am not sure how original it is, you will have to make your own assumption of this.
The engine and frame numbers match the V5 and there is a dating certificate which confirms this. The dating certificate also says that the bike is fitted with a super rocket engine. Looking at the registration date on the V5 and the DVLC dates on the dating certificate I also assume that an age related registration was applied for. The dating certificate does confirm that it was issued to a customer in Guildford. The frame number is GA7 **** and the engine number is DA10 R ***.
The rear wheel rim and spoke have been renewed with a chrome rim and stainless steel spokes. It has new (2007) Dunlop K70 tyres front and rear. New seat. New battery. New rear shocks. New petrol taps. Good chrome. 12 volt conversion (bills for £300.00).
The engine starts and runs niceley but there is a little tappet noise. There is some play on the kickstart where it locates on the shaft but it works ok. A concentric carb has been fitted, I think this should be a monobloc. The electrics and brakes work and all bearings feel tight so a new MOT should be a matter of course, this is my opinion though so I reccomend that you come and have a look if what i have said is of interest.
