Very nice, Japanese chip-set, quite reliable and with stable speed. Protection of the harddisk is very solid, I was trying to replace a bigger SSD storage and found out that the bumper and cushion are well designed.

Bought it for a friend in South Africa because he says they are the best HdD for his application of it.
I can use it with my iMac and transformed to SSD it is extremely fast. Read and write speed is around 350Mb/s now, before with built in 5200RPM HDD it was only 80Mb/s. So thunderbolt external drive transfer iMac to very sophisticated and fast machine.
