Our house is a detached residence situated in a quiet location on a hillside on the edge of a small village with unspoilt mountain views over the Bulgarian countryside. Our village is called Virovsko and is approximately 18 miles from the City of Vratsa and 73 miles from the Bulgarian capital, Sofia and the airport.
The house was a renovation project when purchased in 2007 and is now practically a brand new house. All work was carried out by a professional English builder who lives just up the lane from us in Virovsko. Together with his wife, they manage and maintain our house and garden when we are not there as they live in the village full time with their young family.
The house is fully furnished and these items are included in the price. THE HOUSE IS READY TO MOVE INTO. We do not want to sell our home especially after having so much work done to it but our son now lives in Canada with his wife and our grandchildren and that is where we are now hoping to spend a lot more time so unfortunately, something has to give.

Vratsa has many shops, large supermarkets, a swimming pool, pubs and restaurants and is a picturesque place to walk around.
