A GENUINE 'BANKSY' DI-FACED TENNER, A 'BANKSY' DESIGNED STICKER FOR
GREENPEACE, AND A PRINTED SIGNED 'BANKSY' ENVELOPE ** ** ** ** **
1. BANKSY TENNER - DI-FACED £10 NOTE
An original Banksy Di-Faced Tenner.
Let me first start by saying that this
is NOT REAL CURRENCY OR A COUNTERFEIT BILL.
This is a PIECE OF ART WORK from the UK’s famous artist ‘Banksy’.
These were made by 'Banksy' and
distributed at various events. Originally
attached to his ATM machine piece on Rosebery Avenue, London, the notes were
also available from Santa’s Ghetto exhibition at the Soho Bookshop in December
The note has all the 'Banksy' subtleties as you would
expect, like, Dianna's face replacing the Queens, 'Banksy of England', instead of 'Bank of England', the POW initials as well as DiFaced Currency information on
the bottom right hand side, the Serial number CA70 364470, and the words 'trust
no one' on the reverse side.
The note measures 76mm x 143mm and weighs 1.34g.
DESIGNED GREENPEACE STICKER
Banksy designed this for the Greenpeace
'Save or Delete' campaign against deforestation in 2001. Posters,
Stickers, and Postcards were printed and then withdrawn part way through
distribution due to the threat of legal action from Disneys legal team serving
Greenpeace with cease and desist notices.
They were due to be distributed in
magazines and national newspapers - this sticker was unissued and is unused
(never pealed off its backing) its in perfect condition as can be seen in the
The 'Save or Delete' piece is featured in the 'Banksy' book ‘Wall & Piece’. 'Banksy' referred to the incident by quoting
"You owe the companies nothing. You especially don't owe them any
courtesy. They have rearranged the world to put themselves in front of you.
They never asked for your permission, don't even start asking for theirs"
BANKSY PRINTED SIGNED ENVELOPE
This envelope came with the note when
originally purchased in 2004 - it has great patina, a few scuffs, but is a great
added extra with the 2 other amazing pieces.

Banksy (British, b. ca.1974/1975) is one of the most
well-known, if mysterious, Graffiti artists working in England today. Banksy,
the pseudonym adopted by the artist, heavily guards his privacy; the details of
his life largely unknown to the public. He has garnered great fame for his
graffiti works, which often combine spray paint and stenciling techniques with
commercial, political, and contemporary imagery, infused with ironic social
commentary and humor. Often critical of business and corporations, Banksy’s
work has been found on the sides of corporate buildings, on billboards, as well
as the Israeli West Bank wall.
The unveiling of many of Banksy’s new works
often incorporates pranks or performance: he secretly added his own works in
museums like the Tate Modern in London or the Paris Louvre; opened gallery
shows to the public with specially-bred rats running around the gallery space;
and once inserted an inflatable doll dressed as a Guantanamo Bay prisoner into
the Disneyland theme park in California. In addition to his reactionary street
art, Banksy has created works for several charities, and consistently opens exhibitions
of his work to wide audiences and critical acclaim. He currently lives and
works in Bristol, England.
