I've been using this for many years. I have a very old wooden bench which would have rotted away long since. Every couple of years I treat it, and it always looks good after, and will last. Boiled linseed oil is easy to paint on, and dries in a few days. Use white spirit to clean brushes. One tip: make sure the cap and neck of the container are really clean before closing. If you leave any oil in the threads it will harden, and it will be damned difficult to open, because you won't be able to easily push down on the child-proof cap before twisting it off. Otherwise, a really great product which works so much better than the new mamby pamby stuff being touted in the diy sheds.
