DAMAGED / MISSING ITEMS / WRONG ITEMS

Nearly all our orders arrive on time and in the same excellent condition they left our warehouse. However items can get knocked about in transit and whilst often it is only the packaging that is damaged, the products themselves are occasionally damaged. Items also occasionally get misrouted or lost in transit.

If damage is noticed at point of delivery the order can be refused and returned with the driver.

We would advise that you let the driver unpack your appliances so you can check them upon receipt.

FAILED DELIVERY

We understand that sometimes you will not be available to receive your goods. For all items except large items (kitchen appliances and large TVs), our couriers will attempt redelivery once after which you will be charged for any further redelivery attempts.

RETURNS POLICY FOR All OTHER ITEMS LISTED ON BUYITDIRECTDISCOUNTS

Faults Occurring Within 28 Days of Receipt: If any product develops a fault within the first 28 days, we can offer you a repair or a replacement whichever is more convenient. If you purchased a large kitchen appliance or a TV over 32" we require you to contact the manufacturer in the first instance who will arrange for a onsite visit from an engineer.

If an engineer is unable to repair the goods they will provide a reference number and direct you back to us to arrange a replacement. Please ensure you have the reference number to hand when you contact us. Unfortunately we are unable to provide a replacement until the original goods are back with us.

Faults Occurring Within 1 year (3 months for refurbished products): If you've had the product for up to 1 year, your product will be repaired directly by the manufacturer. If that's not possible we will give you a replacement, or if that's not possible, a refund.

Faults Occurring After 1 year but within manufacturer’s warranty period: Please contact the manufacturer directly to arrange a repair.

PLEASE NOTE THAT DEAD PIXELS (UNLESS 3 OR MORE) ARE NOT A FAULT, THIS COMES DIRECTLY FROM THE MANUFACTURER

If you send any product back with the above this will be classed as unwanted and a restocking fee will apply

1. DEFINITIONS & INTERPRETATION

1.1 In these conditions, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings ascribed to them below:

1.1.1 "Customer" means the person or party who purchases the Products from the Seller;

1.1.2 "Seller" means Buy It Direct Limited (Company Number 04171412, VAT Number GB 721 3118 80) whose registered office is at Unit A, Trident Business Park, Leeds Road, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire;

1.1.3 "Contract" means any contract between the Seller and the Customer for the sale and purchase of the Products, subject to and incorporating these conditions;

1.1.4 "Products" means any Products agreed in the Contract to be supplied to the Customer by the Seller (including any part or parts of them).

1.2 A reference to a particular law is a reference to it as it is in force for the time being taking account of any amendment, extension, application or re-enactment and includes any subordinate legislation for the time being in force made under it.

1.3 Words in the singular include the plural and in the plural include the singular.

1.4 A reference to one gender includes a reference to the other gender.

1.5 Condition headings do not affect the interpretation of these conditions.

2. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

2.1 Subject to any variation under condition 2.3 the Contract shall be on these conditions to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions (including any terms or conditions which the Customer purports to apply under any purchase order, confirmation of order, communication, specification or other document).

2.2 No terms or conditions endorsed on, delivered with or contained in the Customer's purchase order, confirmation of order, specification or other document shall form part of the Contract simply as a result of such document being referred to in the Contract.

2.3 These conditions apply to all the Seller's sales and any variation to these conditions and any representations about the Products shall have no effect unless expressly agreed in writing and signed by a director of the Seller.

3. ORDER PROCESS

3.1 All orders placed by the Customer are subject to final acceptance by the Seller.

3.2 Following receipt of any order, the Seller may send to the Customer an order acknowledgement detailing the Products which have been ordered. This communication is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from the Seller.

3.3 Acceptance of the Customers order and the completion of the Contract between the Seller and Customer will take place on despatch to the Customer of the Products ordered unless the Seller has notified the Customer that the order has not been accepted or it has been cancelled by the Customer.

4. DESCRIPTION AND PRICING

4.1 The description of the Products shall be as set out on the Seller's website at the time the Customer places an order.

4.2 All samples, drawings, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising issued by the Seller and any descriptions or illustrations contained in the Seller's website are issued or published for the sole purpose of giving an approximate idea of the Products described in them. They shall not form part of the Contract which is not a sale by sample.

4.3 Every effort is made by the Seller to ensure that prices shown on the Seller's website are accurate. If an error is found, the Supplier will inform the Customer as soon as possible and offer the option of reconfirming the order at the correct price, or cancelling the order. If the Seller does not receive an order confirmation within 3 days of informing the Customer of the error, the order will be cancelled automatically. If the Customer cancels the order, or if the order is cancelled automatically due to the expiry of the 3 day period, the Seller will refund or re-credit the Customer for any sum that has been paid.

4.4 All prices are shown in UK £s (pounds sterling) and unless expressly stated otherwise, include VAT (where applicable) at the applicable current rates but exclude delivery charges.

QUALITY

The Seller is a re-seller and not a manufacturer of the Products. In this respect and to the fullest extent permissible by law, the Seller is unable to offer any express warranties of any kind whatsoever in respect of the Products.

Save to the extent that any exclusion or restriction of liability may be prohibited by statute, all implied warranties relating to the Products (statutory or otherwise) including (without limitation) any warranties relating to quality or fitness for a particular purpose, shall be fully excluded.

The Products may be sold with a manufactures warranty, details of which shall be dispatched with the Products.

Products which are found to be defective following delivery shall be dealt with by the Customer in accordance with any subsisting manufacturer's warranty. For the avoidance of doubt, this may mean that the Products are repaired as opposed to replaced and must be returned directly to the manufacturer as opposed to the Seller.
