This hob is good value, however... Quite a slow, involved process to change a setting, and there is a short lag between changing a setting and it being implemented. Also if there is a large pan on a front ring then possibly a good chance of getting burnt by it. Timer sound very weak. Next time will get a hob with physical knobs and accept slight downside of cleanability to get improved and faster controllability.

This was bought to replace a gas hob,and I wish I'd got it years ago. So easy to install and simple to use, with the added bonus of a child lock setting. Very quick to heat up, so simple to keep clean, and warning indicators to let you know which hobs are still hot when cooking is finished. The only dislike I have is not the cooker, but the instructions, as they make it sound so complicated to use. To be honest if I'd read the handbook first I would probably not have got it, but after using it once you see how simple it is and wonder why it has a 22 page booklet with it when 1 sheet of A4 would tell you all you need to know.
After owning a ceramic hob with two halogen burners for many years, I didn't expect such good performance from a non-halogen hob. The heat boost facility on this hob ensures the the burners heat up really quickly and it's really easy to clean as there are no knobs to collect dirt. For the price, this is an excellent piece of equipment.
