Borske Sklo Lampshades - A Pair
A pair of Borske Sklo lampshades in excellent condition.
These lampshades were most likely to have been made by Borske Sklo in Czechoslovakia, in the 1950s or 60s. They are a great golden amber in colour, and give the room a real golden glow, and as you can see in the last picture, makes fractured patterns of light and shadow on wall and ceiling.
The second picture was taken with flash to bring out colour and detail, when the light is switched on they look similar in colour to this picture.
They are near enougth in perfect condition, no damage I can find.
One measures approx. 24.5cm tall by 7cm diameter at top(3cm hole in centre for light fitting), bottom diameter hole 9.7cm and 18cm at widest point.
Other measures approx. 23.5cm tall by 7cm diameter at top(3cm hole in centre for light fitting), bottom diameter hole 9.7cm and 19cm at widest point.
My pictures make them look very different in size, in actuality they is only about 1cm in difference.
Postage is high since size and nature of articles require careful packing.
