These are my mother's walking boots, used only once and will be scrubbed clean before shipping.
Sale purely because they ended up being a bad fit after the walk (a flat, local walk - these haven't gone up a mountain) and were replaced with a different boot. They couldn't be taken back because they had been worn outside (albeit briefly), and so need to be sold. Review taken from a reputable website: Two extraordinary things happen at the 3-minute marker in this video. Firstly, Jodie is shown standing in 5 inches of freezing cold water, in fabric boots, with perfectly dry feet. Secondly, and far more importantly, she says that she’s lost for words. Extraordinary indeed! SUMMARY: The Brasher Lithium GTX Walking Boots are very, very waterproof for a fabric boot. They’re very comfortable, moderately warm and have a very grippy sole in mud, snow and grass. They’re OK on ice, but no match for crampons! Manufacture quality looks good, and boots look pretty good too. They do absolutely what they say on the tin. Scoring 5 out of 5 pick axes on that site. Excellent boots with multiple, excellent reviews. It wasn't the size that was the problem it was the fit (my mum has wide feet) so size 5.5 should be right for you if that is what you normally wear and you have average width feet. RRP is a whacking £115 so grab yourself a bargain! On 16-Apr-12 at 10:31:48 BST, seller added the following information: PLEASE NOTE: See images - they are a kind of greeny grey i suppose. |
