Above postcards printed by Larkfield Postcards, Brighouse for the Bronte Parsonage Museum. Photographed by Simon Warner. Postcards in good condition and postally unused
5/ Haworth Moor, Yorkshire - Older Style Postcard published for the Bronte Society by Walter Scott, Bradford. Overall in good condition for a postcard of some age. There are some very small dots of foxing along lower edge of postcard & a price written in pencil on the reverse. Postally unused
6/ The Kitchen, Bronte Parsonage Museum, Haworth, Yorkshire - Older Style Postcard published by Walter Scott, Bradford. Good and postally unused. However I must point out that on the reverse of the postcard is the word 'Yorkshire' written in the upper left corner. It was like this when I acquired it.
Depicting Haworth Old Church, Church Street and The Parsonage. Overall in Good Condition other that a small thin pen mark on the left-hand side near the top of middle image.
Bronte Parsonage Museum, Haworth
A Keighley News Publication
Interesting publication containing articles relating to the Brontes and the Museum.
Approx. 39 pages. Overall in good condition, never been read. However there is a very faint surface crease on the left upper corner on the back cover, hardly noticeable
Famous People First Day of Issue Stamped Envelope
From The Postmark Club:
Post Mark Reads: ‘The Elms, Country Home of George
Elliot, Rickmansworth’ Date 9 Jul 80. Stamps as below.
Charlotte Bronte – Jane Eyre
Emily Bronte – Wuthering Heights
George Elliot – The Mill on the Floss
Mrs Gaskell – North & South
Intact with no rips or tears. However, it is grubby with some areas of light foxing and slight ‘scuffing on corners. Although the information page is still inside unfortunately the inside flap of the envelope has stuck to it. I have not attempted to remove it. For an item approx. 34 years old I suppose this kind of condition can occur
The items will be securely packaged and will go as Second Class Large Letter Rate within the UK, thank you
PLEASE NOTE: If buying more than one item please wait for an invoice before paying. I like to combine wins & post as cheap as possible for the buyer. Due to Ebay’s New Sellers Fees the p&p costs are also added to the sale price at cost to the seller. Plus I also refund any postage difference back to the buyer if I am responsible, at additional cost to me. I will send an invoice on day of sale but it may take a while if I have been busy with other sales. However if a buyer pays for more than one win before I send an invoice then unfortunately I will have to send the items separately, thank you.
POSTAGE COST INCREASE
Before you bid please be aware that as from 31 March 2014 Royal Mail increased their postal prices. I only charge 30 pence for packaging, etc, the rest I’m afraid is postage costs for which I have no control over, thank you.
