Author BiographyRichard Kaplan is the Dean of Library and Learning Resources at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. He has overseen the conversion of the College library and two branch campus libraries into a predominantly electronic collection. He has over 30 years' experience, also working in libraries at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the University of Buffalo (SUNY). He has an MLS from the University of Albany (SUNY) and has published in the Journal of the Medical Library Association, Medical Reference Services Quarterly, and the Journal of Library Administration.
