About Us

UK Insulation & Building Supplies is the eBay trading name of DoBuild Direct Ltd.

Originally founded by an ex member of staff from a national builders merchant, DoBuild Direct was created to serve builders all over the country, offering a one stop supplier to them for all their needs using a large network of suppliers and distributors. Since then in 2010, DoBuild Builders Merchants also opened, further building the companies buying power and product range.

Payment

Payment for each listing is required immediately via paypal.

Shipping

Most items should have estimated delivery times ranging from 2 working days up to 5 working days. This will be included on the listing itself.

Once we have received your payment you will then receive a message from us advising on what date you can expect delivery.

We try to keep shipping costs down to a minimum, a lot of our larger products do include a free delivery, if you are purchasing smaller items it is likely that they will be shipped via our courier network and therefore a small delivery charge will be quoted on the listing.

Terms

If the customer wishes to claim that there is any shortage on delivery in respect of goods or materials supplied by us or our supplier direct to the customer (or that the same have been damaged in transit or that any goods or materials are defective or not in accordance with the contract), he/she shall give notice to us within 24 hours of delivery of the same. If the customer fails to give such notice and fails to give us the opportunity to inspect the entire consignment, the goods or materials shall be deemed to have been delivered in good order and to be in accordance with the contract in all respects.

Returns

Unwanted Products

Products can be returned to us under these following conditions;
a) The customer must let our customer service team know within 30 days of the invoice date if they wish to return an unwanted product, and
b) The product must be in original condition, complete with original packaging, unused and in complete re-saleable condition or the product will be exempt for return, and
c) When contacting our customer service team you may either arrange to send the product back to us or our nominated supplier yourself (please check before sending), or we can arrange collection of the product at our own expense, collection will be made to suit our carriers when in area, and
d) Restocking and re-handling charge will be applied at the rate of 25% and credit will be applied to the same account you purchased from, once the product is received by us

Damaged Products

a) As per our terms & conditions, if a product is delivered damaged we must be notified within 48 hours from the delivery taking place, customers should either call or email our customer service team to notify us
b) If a product is faulty we must be notified with 30 days from the delivery taking place, customers should either call or email our customer service team to notify us, and we will make arrangements for the return of the product and replacement or refund thereafter
