SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING ELECTRICAL ITEMS LIKE SENSORS/PUMPS/SWITCHES/VALVES/IGNITION PARTS
All our items are brand new and NOT used (unless otherwise specificed). Despite this, Doctor Car Parts does NOT give any form of warranty for electrical or engine management parts (any part with an electrical plug and/or any part which communicates with the ecu) . This means that even if you or your mechanic, suspect that the part received is faulty, we will not replace or refund.
The company has taken this decision due to what we believe is an increasing 'gap' between modern vehicle diagnostics (the skill of diagnosing problems) and the complex modern vehicles systems themselves.
1) 30-DAY RETURN PERIOD:-
Buyers have a period of 30 days after the date of delivery within which they can cancel the contract (often referred to as the "cooling off" period) and return the goods for a full refund, including the original postage and packing charges. This applies only if buyer is in the EU and is non-vat registered.
Returns request must be made in writing via ebay message or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, within 30 days from the day the goods were received.
The buyer must pay for return costs, if any of the following applies:
a) 'change of heart' and/or goods are no longer required
b) the part is not compatible with the customers vehicle as per the ebay compatibility table which is displayed on many of the listings.
c) the buyer bought the wrong item by mistake
2} ITEM NO LONGER REQUIRED:-
Return the item to our address.
We will refund price paid for the item minus the price of shipping the item.
Buyers who return items after 30 days from date of delivery will be subject a 20% handling charge.
In this case the buyer would receive a refund of the price of the item minus 20% Handling Fee and minus original delivery charges.
3} INCORRECT PART
In order to establish the reason for the wrong part - UK customers must provide us with the vehicle full registration ; overseas customers must provide full vehicle detals including engine or model codes as required.
a) There is NOT a 'Part Variation' warning note mentioned in the Notes Column in ebay's Vehicle Compatibility Table.
b) The wrong part was due to error/s in our item desciption/catalogue
Action - Case 1:
We will try to find the correct part and exchange, or offer a full refund.
a) The item decription (i.e. Notes Column in Vehicle Compatibility Table) mentions a 'Part Variation'
b) The part was NOT confirmed as correct for your vehicle via email (in writing) PRIOR to purchase.
Action - Case2
Return postage/courier costs will NOT be reimbursed/refunded.
A If there is a difference in price for the correct part, you will be refunded or invoiced appropriately.
Items must be returned in the condition they were received and in their original packaging/box. We reserve the right to refuse a full refund if the packaging is damaged and/or the item is not fit for resale.
Refund requests should be lodged within 30 days of receipt of goods in order to receive a full refund on the price of the goods.
6) CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE UNITED KINGDOM:
For NON-UK customers all parts should be verified as correct by us in writing, via email, before purchase in order to warrant any refund or exhange.
