The Canon PIXMA iX6550 is a digital photo printer specially designed to print posters, presentations, and other large format media, but it also serves well as a more traditional photo printer. With its 150 sheet capacity rear paper tray, the Canon PIXMA can print pages from 15x10 cm to A3+ in size, making it suitable for both specialty and standard printing services. The Canon PIXMA iX6550 uses five ink cartridges for more economical and accurate ink usage. Included in these cartridges are two black inks, one used for printing black text on regular paper, another used to enhance depth and grey tones in photos. The Canon PIXMA digital photo printer delivers quality results with natural colours and sharp detail, which becomes particularly useful when users take advantage of the printer's ability to print HD movie stills. With a rated black print speed of 11.3 pages per minute and a colour print speed of 8.3 pages per minute, the Canon PIXMA iX6550 is fast and efficient.
