CELTIC FROST (swi)
“A Thousand Deaths…” 1984 demo cover (Proulin’ Death records) + reh.
The legend is true, this is the only one proof of the first Celtic Frost demo, by Proulin Death, but never was released. It’s only the cover prototype with two “untitled” tracks, promotional of the first MLP under CF “Morbid Tales”, but the German label, NOISE records thought that is unnecessary and never was released.
The cover is only a prototype, and not exist tracks from this one. This one is a copy of the few circulating in those years. The format is very similar to the Hellhammer demo tapes and will be the PDR 004.
The cover said “This cassette is for promotional use only” and have two notes under the cover in german: “Vorderseite” and “Rückseite”.
This simple paper is one of the most rarest celtic frost item…
About the cassette; it’s a Celtic frost rehearsal. I don’t remember the tracks titles, but are 6 or 7. I don’t have info about this rehearsal. I obtained this tape by a German celtic frost maniac… maybe was a band friend.
The paper have a little stain of ink, but still is in great condition. The paper was adapted to the tape cover, but remember, this one don’t have relation with the cassette content.
Condition: Cover in good conditions, xeroxed in office paper, with some marks of use and time, also, the ink stain. 7/10.
Cassette in perfect condition, with a bit dust. the sound is great taking into account the years 8/10
You can check the photos and see the proofs of authenticity and conditions.
