This charity auction evolved from a bit of fun, when I did my first caricature.
Dave (the subject - see below) is now keen for this to be made into a charity auction in support of ACORNS. As such, I have done this listing on an auction basis. It will be "winner takes all", with Dave matching the winning amount. As an incentive, the winner will win a caricature of themselves, along with a watercolour picture of A4 (ish) size of any reasonable subject e.g. partner / kids / dog / scooter etc - as long as it's not too elaborate, anything goes. You can see plenty of my paintings on other listings - see ART category within my shop or here: http://s1192.photobucket.com/user/westbrombaggies/library/My%20paintings?sort=3&page=1
PLEASE SUPPORT A GREAT CAUSE IF YOU CAN. Cheers.
You are looking at a digital caricature of the almost legendary "Dave "Mr Grumpy" Young, dodgy boot sale stationer of this parish. Has health and safety features: if you put it on the mantle piece it should prove very useful to keep the kids away from the fire.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
I always pay instantly when I buy on Ebay. I don’t expect this of my customers but I do ask that payment is made in a reasonable time scale, which I deem to be 4 working days. If this is a problem, please ask prior to bidding. I may re-list the product if things go quiet & payment isn’t forthcoming in this time. I always open “Unpaid cases” if these terms are breached (unless you communicate with legitimate reasons). This can harm your Ebay “credit rating”.
Items not received:
I always get a “Proof of Posting” from the Post Office to confirm items are sent. I do not habitually offer tracked mail / special delivery etc. However, you can always request this! In the absence of such a request and an item is not received by you, I’m afraid I cannot offer any refund – my view is that I have performed my duty by getting the Proof of Posting and I am quite happy to scan and email this to you upon request. Unfortunately, I have lost too much money giving out refunds for faults by the Post Office.
Tone of queries / complaints etc:
I pride myself on excellent customer service and always try to act politely and calmly to my customers. Regrettably, I have had cases where, in the very first query, people come over VERY AGGRESSIVE AND USE LOTS OF CAPITALS, EXCLAMATION MARKS AND GENERALLY SHOUT!!! I do not appreciate that approach and this rarely works favourably for customers who use it. I repay courtesy with courtesy.
