I first met Julie Stooks at a Championship Dog Show in the South of England in the summer of 1989. She had taken a booth for the first time at a dog show as an artist to draw owners dogs on the day. I was immediately struck by the quality of her work, so much so, that I commissioned her to draw one of our own dogs that very day. I met her again the following year and asked her to draw our other dog. We still have both pictures proudly hanging on our walls at home! We have since become good friends and regularly meet when she attends a dog show, where she still does remarkable business drawing exhibitors dogs in amazingly quick time. Just recently she has started to self publish some of her pastels as signed Limited Editions. Having inspected the finished items, I have to say that the quality of the reproduction is the finest of its type I have ever seen. Pastel is a notoriously difficult medium to reproduce in print, but when I first saw the finished editions, I didn’t want to touch them in case they smudged as I thought they were her original pastels! Believe me they are that good. I am delighted that Julie has permitted me to offer them to our collector customers. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Excellent. With no creases, scuffs or bends. I suspect you won't see one in better condition than this one.

Please note that this is NOT a blow up from a postcard, or a reprint, copy, computer-generated print or an inkjet/laser printer copy of the type you may well see offered elsewhere. It is a guaranteed commercially printed and professionally published fine art limited edition print.

Dispatch

Your item will be very carefully packed and posted to you in a proper stout postal tube, complete with plastic end caps. Your print will be wrapped in acid free tissue paper to protect it during transit and you will also receive a full page of hints and tips on how to look after your artwork, a full biography of the artist, illustrated with a photograph of the actual artist, an illustrated list of some other items I may have available on your breed and an illustrated collectors CAC postcard showing Scarlett, my young Dandie Dinmont Terrier!
