For the price of 14 acres of very cheap building land in Planes, Alicante, at even less than it was 10 years ago, you get an apartment for nothing AND another 1.25 acre plot FREE.

Please read to the end if you are remotely interested in a very VERY cheap investment for 2012. We have a two bed apartment in a superb location literally across the road from the Arenal beach in Javea, Spain. It has a beautiful pool and grounds plus trastero  (lock-up) for your sunbeds, bar-b etc. also electric gate entry to private and secure covered parking. We have owned this apartment for 10 years now, and added a new kitchen and bathroom 8 years ago, but it really needs some TLC now. We paid €150,000 + taxes, and watched it go up in value by 50% during the first 6 years. We have had it on and off the market for the past few years and hence have chased the market down to where it is today at €165,000...... Please keep reading.

About the same time we bought a couple of plots of land 5,000sq mtrs and 57,000sq mtrs (1.25 acres and 14 acres) in and close to Planes, a beautiful Castled Town near Muro del Alcoy, overlooking the Serpis reservoir where there is great fishing. We paid around €185,000 for the 2 pieces which included the taxes, surveys and water connections for the 14 acres paid to the town hall.

Our task was to rebuild the big old Finca whilst putting planning in place for more building plots, but we just seemed much too busy for years. Although we have got the Ok from the Town Hall another 2 plots, I am sure that with a presence there it could be doubled. 

Water and electricity are already on site, and paid for, and there is a drinkable water well. At the moment the 14 acres is for sale with two estate agencies at €180.00 who have the write-up below:-  


There are Olive, Cherry, Fig and Sharon-fruit trees on this gently terraced area of 55,905 sq.mtrs….fourteen acres!

The large finca ruin has a footprint of 228.5 sq .mtrs. bungalow size. This means that if you want to re-build it with a second storey then your finished villa’s area could be up to 450 sq.mtrs. or 4,800 sq.ft. four times as big as a normal 3 bed semi in the Uk.            

The land was originally presented to the Planes Town Hall divided into five plots of just under 3 acres per plot, but the Planes Town Hall have said that they will agree if we just go for 2 more plots besides the already ‘able to start’ Finca. Giving the land a Finca re-build and 2 new builds on just under 5 acres each.  All the plots have access from both top and bottom roads. There is also a 'sweet-water' well on the land, and mains water from the ‘town hall’ has been connected, electricity is 'on-site' on the top road, and all plots have access to both. 


The Deal.

You buy the 14 acres at about it’s original 10 year old cost and get the 2 bed Apartment and the 1.25 acres included for absolutely nothing!! This has got to be the best investment offer anywhere, a complete ‘NO BRAINER’.

The buyer would bear the solicitors fees for the transaction and a deposit will be needed to prove intention and will be discussed with the winning bidder. It doesn’t take much working out that we spent at least €335,000, TEN YEARS AGO! (£295,000 ish at todays rates) I was 59 when we bought the properties, no need to count on your fingers to make me too old to start building again, I already know it!!

What would you offer for the whole lot today?

Over the last 10 years I have been offered £200k for the land by a fishing/gun club and the identical apartment above us sold for €215K just 3 years ago. I am not looking for anything like that! I need enough cash to buy a small place back in the Uk and looking on Rightmove we can get a nice little place exactly where we want to be for about £170-£200K, the 2 pieces of land are worth that on their own!!

So ....... This offer is B.O.G.O.F. or rather B.O.G.T.F ‘buy one get two free’! some very lucky person is going to get an amazing deal with an apartment and a 1.25 acre plot for Absolutely nothing...  So if I were to put a ‘Buy it Now’ price will be a minimum of £180k, and my reserve is £150k which is less than HALF the value of 10 years ago. No I’m not barmy just old! And yes this is a no-brainer!! This is not a joke, this offer is real and honest. I already have all the properties for sale individually with estate agents, at the prices stated, but selling them this cheap means that they all go at once. So an offer like this just doesn’t come more than once in a lifetime. All documents and paperwork are legal and in order, and my help is there if needed.

We all know that property prices will be back to where they were in a very short time, especially if the estate agents have anything to do with it. Which makes this a ‘double whammy’ deal.

I will consider any payment scheme, any honest and serious offer, but on a ‘first come first served’ basis, so if you are anywhere near interested do not leave it until the last minute and be disappointed, and please be sure to go to any 2 or 3 Spanish Land and Property sites to prove for yourself just what a fantastic offer this is!  

Well there you have it. I get to retire and you get the ability to build your dream house in a beautiful area of Spain, whilst living in an apartment by the sea. Which with the spare plot, can both be sold to cover all your building costs!! An offer NOT to be missed!!
