About this charity:

BFW is a Charity that service, repair and refurbishes used mobility equipment. Young disadvantaged people with disabilities assist in the repair, servicing and refurbishing of this equipment, supervised by trained technicians; this training will help them to up-skill and help remove barriers to employment. Our workshop takes some of the most disadvantaged disabled people and others who are greatly disadvantaged in many other ways - many have been excluded socially, and have very low self esteem.

About Us

Brighter Future Mobility is a charity which helps to remove barriers for disabled and disadvantaged people by giving them opportunities to learn and develop a host of skills. They work alongside our qualified technicians recycling, servicing and repairing mobility equipment.

BFW sell new and recycled mobility equipment from mobility scooters, wheelchairs, powerchairs, rise and recline chairs, walking aids, patient lifting equipment, batteries, hospital beds, spare parts, tyres and other living aids.

You are welcome to visit our showroom to view any of our products and equipment and try before you buy. We are based in 20 Greenhey Place, East Gillibrands Industrial Estate, Skelmersdale, WN8 9SA.

Our open hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm (Excluding bank holidays).
