What's Included in our Calibration Service?

  • 12 month Computer Generated Certificate with Results
  • Certificate is Traceable to National Standards
  • Dated Calibration Label
  • Yearly automatic calibration recall
  • We strive to offer a 2-3 day turnaround time from receipt of your meter (based on working days only so please allow for weekends and public holidays).
  • If your meter fails during calibration, we will email you a repair quotation for your approval.

How do I return my meter?

  • Ensure your items are well packaged and send either by a courier or a Royal Mail signature service to enable tracking of your parcel.
  • Include all relevant accessories (i.e. charger, test leads, probes)
  • Once you have purchased and paid for the calibration please send your instrument to SerCal Electronics Limited, 33 Arksey Lane, Bentley, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN5 0RX with a copy of your PayPal Receipt. 

Once your unit has been calibrated we will return your instrument via our delivery service which is provided by DPD Couriers who will email you the morning of delivery giving you a 'One Hour Delivery Window', so you will no longer have to waste a day waiting at home for your delivery.

 


If you have any other test equipment you would like a calibration cost for that is not listed on our EBay Shop, please call our Calibration Department on 01302 563123 or simply email us the information about your meter (i.e. manufacturer, model number, description and serial number).

At SerCal we want you to be delighted every time you deal with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items. That's why if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition, as follows:- (1) Step-By-Step Guide to Returns Please follow the following steps for returns. Failure to follow these procedures may result in your return being rejected upon receipt. (2) How do I get an RAN number? You must obtain an RAN (Returns Authorisation Number) number before making any returns. To obtain an RAN number please contact Customer Services on 01302 739998 or email sales@sercalelectronics.co.uk and provide the following information:- - The SerCal invoice number - The order reference number - The part number(s) to be returned - The reason for returning the goods (including a full fault description if there is a problem with the product) - The method of return should be confirmed with Customer Services whilst obtaining an RAN number. (3) What if there is a problem with the product? You will need to give a full and detailed description of the fault or error before an RAN number can be issued. Certain items are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. The quickest option is for you to return such items direct to the manufacturer. If you prefer, SerCal can facilitate the return. We will ask you to obtain a returns authorisation number from the manufacturer before sending the product back to SerCal. (4) How do I pack it? All goods returned must be securely packaged and returned in equivalent packaging to that in which they were received. SerCal cannot accept returns if goods have been damaged in transit as a result of inadequate packaging. All goods returned are at the purchaser's expense with proof of delivery being available upon request. SerCal may request that certain items are returned using SerCal’s courier in which case the cost will be deducted from the value of the return. All items must be securely packaged and returned un-damaged in their original packaging with all accessories, which may include test lead sets, instruction manuals and warranty registration cards, any software must remain un-opened. Do not write on or mark the product packaging. Please enclose a copy of your invoice(s).
