First several VERY IMPORTANT notes!!

There are more “Important Notes” at the end but these are here, at the beginning for a reason:

1) We ship WORLDWIDE by Express Mail Service…average time to the USA is about 3-4 days… 2) We no longer ship to South America or Africa. If you would like us to make an exception please contact us first!

3) We currently ship within 5 business days of completed payment. No exceptions.

4) Our shipping fees (and free shipping if it is offered) are worldwide. Unless you live in a tiny or war torn country you do not need to ask us the shipping rate. It is the same as everywhere else.

5) If you do not see DOZENS of hi resolution pictures followed by the “Important Notes” try another full feature browser!! Not mobile!!Not Firefox!

6) When you place a bid or use the Buy it Now. You are agreeing to the terms set forth in the listing so please be sure to read them all and look at all the pictures!!!!

7) eBay does NOT have a “I changed my mind.” option.  All non-paying bidders and bid cancellers will be reported to eBay and added to our blocked bidder list.

Here is a Caparison Stevie Salas prototype from about 1999. As I understand it these never made it out of the prototype stage. They are super duper rare. The only ones I have seen seem to all be Stevie's (might even be the same guitar in different lighting). If anyone has any concrete info on these please let me know. Stevie!! You out there?

Cosmetically it is about as mint as you can expect a guitar to be. No pick marks, no dings, no fret wear, no rash...mint. But we'll call it 99.5% to be safe.

All original. Sounds and plays great. Great for gigging or hitting the high notes while sitting down.

The natural wood part has a really cool texture to it that you can kind of see in the pics towards the end.

This came to us in a G&G case that is much to big for it...so it will instead come in an older Ibanez case that fits almost perfectly. It needs new hinges but it does latch securely.

Plays and sounds great. No issues. Extremely well packed.

This is a very rare Caparison and now is the time to start collecting as the word on the street AND the internet AND at the authorized dealers
in Japan is that Caparison/Kyowashokai are on their way out of business!! As of the time of this listing I have not heard a peep of this on any English website..but there you go.

Sounds and plays great. No issues.

Research our feedbacks and buy with confidence. Will be extremely well packed.

You MUST MUST MUST read all fine print and Q&A below the pictures!! I can NOT stress this enough!!!PAYMENT, INSURANCE and CUSTOMS info and terms!!

We include a great many pictures in our listings so the buyer can see EXACTLY what they are getting. Our guitars are as described so please look carefully at the pictures. Often something that looks like a flaw is dust or a reflection. Also keep in mind that close up pictures can make a tiny flaw look much worse and even completely normal things look strange. When was the last time you stared at a guitar from 3 inches away?  All used guitars will look worse with close up pictures. Our new guitars are indeed new so if you see something strange it is almost certainly not really there. If you have questions ask. These guitars pretty much always look MUCH better in real life!!! We recommend hitting the F11 button before viewing the pictures for full resolution.

IMPORTANT NOTES

SHIPPING: Shipping cost is $150 to just about anywhere by EMS JapanPost(if you are in South America or Africa please contact for a qoute as rates are more expensive). This is the only method we use. You don't need to worry about shipping from Japan!!! It is very, very safe and fast. See our feedbacks!! Often, to the USA, they are door to door in 72 hours! See our "me" page for PROOF!!! Also, we have NEVER had shipping damage on a guitar that was not in case!! Folks!! We firmly believe that EMS JapanPost is much safer and faster than UPS or FedEx ground. Less time in transit means less chance of damage! We now double box all of our guitars so the box is pretty much strong enough to sit on from any angle. Caseless guitars might actually be safer than a guitar in a case because there is more room for padding and the added mass of a case often does more damage than it prevents!!KEEP IN MIND.... While your cost is $150.... our ACTUAL COST is an average of $185 per guitar!!! We take packing very seriously and I estimate chances of loss or serious damage at less than 1 in 1000.Tracking information will be sent by ebay messages within 12 hours of shipping.

CUSTOMS FEES: Some countries have import duties. We are not responsible for these and generally do not know specifics for your country.  There are usually no customs fees on our items entering the USA (fully insured through EMS JapanPost).Sometimes there are, but the vast majority of the time there is not. If you do get charged it is your responsibility, not ours. We have no control over customs!!!Customs fees are usually based on the insured/declared value for the package.

Safe Delivery: The item is insured.........unless for some reason you do not want it to be, then let us know. There are reasons the buyer might want this.

Return Policy: You can return a guitar for any reason within 72 hours of delivery (3 business days). There is a 10% fee on returns so your refund will be 90% of the purchase price. No exceptions. No refunds on shipping costs. Returns to Japan must be by airmail and guitar must be in the same condition as it was in when it left us.

Payment
: Generally, we will accept all paypal payments  but we do reserve the right to refund any paypal payment for any reason. Contact us to discuss other methods.

Sourcing: We can no longer post a sourcing policy per eBay's new rules!!

Who are we?: After 12 years of playing guitar, bass and microphone in central Texas' underground scene (Grasshopper, Meestursparkle, Robby and the Robots, the Jocks, Maufrais, Eat Fact, the Swanderers etc). Meestursparkle (aka Jim) began selling guitars out of San Marcos, TX USA in 2002.   Jim has played guitar for 20 or so years and is a graduate of the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Arizona.
Meestursparkle is now based in Japan. We are a family operation and buying and selling guitars is all we do. Current lineup consists of Jim, Yuko,Takashi and Karin.

FINAL NOTE: meestursparkle has the highest rating of any major eBay guitar seller since the new rating system came into effect. We have not been able to find a seller with more guitars sold with a higher detailed seller rating. We describe our items accurately, take plenty of pictures, pack extremely well and ship by the fastest most cost effective service in the world. We do not play games and do not tolerate game players or scammers.  http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=meestursparkle&ftab=AllFeedback&sspagename=STRK:ME:UFS
