Condition: This assumed ex-libris (there is a stamp stating anonymous gift) book and its 408 text pages (the illustrations are unpaginated, so there are many more pages) is in good+ to very good condition. The gilt edged pages are in very good condition, there is only a hint of toning and vague hints or smudges of foxing/soiling to be found throughout. The bindings are in very good condition, the reinforced internal hinges are still intact. The spine cover was cracked and the covers soon to detach, so we re-enforced it using cloth library tape to prevent the covers from detaching. The corners of the boards are exposed, the covers exhibit light wear from rubbing, scuffing, etc., all of which is well represented in scans above.

This is a large book measuring approximately 9.5" x 11.5" x 2" and weighing approximately 8 pounds.
