WOB is always reliable in my experience. I ordered two copies of this book for gifts and they are in immaculate condition. As for the book- it is a beautiful production. In hard back it is sheer pleasure to have in one's hand. The contents are a treasure chest of minutiae about the history of well-known known carols, including biographical details of writers and the music. It must have been a Labour of love. I haven't seen the paperback version yet.
