You are bidding on an American-Made Citation Meerschaum Lined Straight Billiard Estate Pipe. Assuming the classic billiard design, this Citation pipe is very stoutly built and feels well-weighted and balanced in the hand. A deep, true black, the stummel shows a tight rustication that is boldly handsome, with a clean shine to highly the various layers. The walls are thickly built, as is the shank and stem, meaning the pipe was made for durability as well as pleasure. The chamber is center drilled and the inner air flow is bottomed at the meerschaum heel. The meerschaum lining is in excellent condition, with no char around the rim and a smooth chamber darkened only by age. The lack of cake (a very bad thing for meerschaum) implies that the previous owner took exception care of this pipe, evidenced also by the lack of excessive dottle and dirt in the shank/mortise area. The bowl and shank surface so no flaws at all, and the stem, which retains a beautiful mirror gloss, shows very few signs of age and no indentations/bite marks at all. The nomenclature is clearly readable on the bottom panel, which is a lighter tone that exhibits a gorgeous natural shine.

As with all of my pipes, this one has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized for your smoking pleasure.

• The pictures and description above are offered to give, to the best of my abilities and tools at my disposal (camera, lighting), a complete and accurate representation of the item. By bidding or purchasing, you are acknowledging the condition as stated.
• Seller cannot guarantee the pipe's smoking ability, as the seller has not smoked the pipe. All pipes smoke differently, dependent upon make, model, tobacco used, and smoking style.
• Important for International Buyers: Item will be shipped as soon as payment is received and confirmed. A timely arrival, however, is contingent on originating and destination countries’ customs departments and their schedule, regulations, policies and procedures. You are responsible for any duties or fees imposed by your customs organizations.

 Shipping and Handling

• Please use the shipping calculator to approximate your total shipping costs.
• I will ship your item as soon as I receive notice of confirmed payment (if payment is completed after post office business hours, I will ship the following morning). If a situation arises where shipping will be delayed, I will notify you via eBay with the reason. So, the faster payment is made, the faster I can ship and, thus, the faster you get your new pipe!

• If the item being shipped is particularly valuable or rare, I may add delivery insurance at my own expense. If you desire insurance in any other case, please contact me immediately after the auction ends for an invoice containing the total price including the cost of parcel insurance. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me.
  
• A note to international buyers: It is your responsibility to handle all duties and taxes required by your country. I will not adjust the value on the customs form to sidestep taxes and duties. First, this is not legal and could lead to a loss of seller's privileges. Second, for those items that will be insured, lowering a value on a customs form precludes me from insuring the item at full purchase price. I apologize for any convenience, but I will not do this, so please do not request such an action.
