1.9 D Citroen Relay 1000. Ex sail makers van- I have owned this since it came from the company's use and have used it mostly as a quiet camper- or it has been stored. Its looking a bit rough at the moment as it has'nt been used for ages- but would clean up OK.
Over OE spec ; Winter tyres all round. Timber bulkhead with fold down table and locking. Extra storage in cab and loadbay. Extra locking on all rear doors. 1.8M X 1.2M long sleeping platform (suits a off the shelf ikea mattress). Van Vault bolted to floor. Thermal insulation to load bay. Full ply lining. Window grills.
One years MOT- 6 months tax.
Mechanical condition is pretty good for year and mileage. It does have one significant fault- lacks full synchro on 3rd gear- but is still very drivable and 3rd is selectable. These often function in this condition for a long time if care is used. No engine smoke- no start problem- no loss of torque or knock under duress in low rev band. No top end noise. No significant leaks. Heater works, cooling works. Not very fast (they never were)- but can hold 60mph OK and can do about 85 max. Very comfortable at 50mph. Does not have a major rust problem- but does have some rust. Not euro 4 qualifying.
Ancillaries replaced within the last 35,000 miles are; Timing belt, head gasket, glow plugs, glow plug controller, water pump, radiator, heater matrix, clutch, clutch cable, front pads, rear shoes, tyres all round, alternator, battery, oil each 6000, winterised last in 2010. This vehicle has had a lot of maintenance over and above the call- as I depended on it for a while in winter conditions.
Priced to sell as its just costing me to keep it and I'm not using it.
